Welcome To My Music Section
I am a singer/songwriter and have performed in many venues some of which you will have the pleasure of viewing here. I also am an avid collector of music memorabilia that I'm also pleased to share with you. And, of course like you, I have my own personal musical talent favorites such as, Ella Fitzgerald, Dakota Staton, Frank Sinatra, and various rock and pop artists of the 1960s.
Please visit often because I'm always adding new features to this section.

First time a student's photo was featured in the catalogue. The catalogue is sent out annually to supporters of The Lighthouse Music School.

Sidney Poitier
Sidney Poitier was a frequent visitor at Grandpa Week's luncheonette. He met Aunt Winnie first but really wanted to meet Aunt Delores. Somehow he got Aunt Winnie to introduce him to Aunt Delores. Sometime after they became engaged in 1950 but Grandma Week's would have none of it...In 1980 I graduated from New York University with my MSW and in the car on the way to celebrate Aunt Delores told me that Sidney wrote a book and I asked how do you know? And she responded he sent me a copy! Wow! Aunt Delores unfortunately is no longer with us but my cousin Lisa still maintains contact with Mr. Poitier. If you want to know more read the book "This Life" one of several autobiographies by Mr. Poitier.
